Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), East Coast Railway (ECoR), Bhubaneshwar has issued Notification No. ECoR/Pers/RRC/Act Apprentice/2026-27 for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for 1,599 vacancies across various Workshops and Divisions (Mancheswar Workshop, Khurda Road, Sambalpur, and Waltair Divisions). Candidates with Class 10 (min 50% marks) and NCVT/SCVT ITI Certificate can apply online from 26 August 2026 to 15 September 2026 (up to 05:00 PM).

Selection Procedure (No Written Exam)

Selection Mode: Selection will be done purely on the basis of Merit List prepared by taking the average of marks obtained in 10th Class (50% weightage) and ITI Examination (50% weightage). There is No Written Test or Viva/Interview.

Training & Stipend: 1 Year training with monthly stipend as per Apprenticeship rules of Indian Railways.

How to Fill Online Application Form
  1. Visit the official application portal of East Coast Railway (ecorbbs.in).
  2. Click on 'New Registration' and fill your personal details, Aadhaar number, and email ID.
  3. Select your trade and preferred division / unit in East Coast Railway.
  4. Enter Class 10th and ITI marks accurately.
  5. Upload scanned passport photograph, signature, 10th certificate, ITI mark sheet, and caste certificate.
  6. Pay Rs. 100/- application fee online (exempted for SC/ST/Female/PwD).
  7. Submit the form and take a printout of the final application acknowledgment.
