Selection Procedure & Pay Scale

Selection Process: Shortlisting based on academic/experience criteria followed by Interview. If application volume is high, UPSC may conduct a Recruitment Test (RT) where RT weightage is 75% and Interview is 25%.

Pay Scale: Junior Translation Officer: Pay Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/-). Law Officer & Assistant Director: Pay Level-10 / 11 (Rs. 56,100 – 2,08,700/-) under 7th CPC.
