Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN No. 04/2026) for recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), and Chemical Supervisor / Research in Indian Railways. Candidates holding 3-Year Engineering Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech Degree can apply online from 14 August 2026 to 13 September 2026.

RRB JE Selection Procedure (Stages of Examination)
  • 1st Stage CBT (Screening Test): 100 Questions (Mathematics 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning 25, General Awareness 15, General Science 30). Duration: 90 Minutes.
  • 2nd Stage CBT (Technical Exam): 150 Questions (General Awareness 15, Physics & Chemistry 15, Basics of Computers 10, Basics of Environment 10, Technical Abilities 100). Duration: 120 Minutes.
  • Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination: Based on the performance of candidates in the 2nd Stage CBT.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for each incorrect answer in both CBT-1 and CBT-2.
How to Fill Online Application Form
  1. Visit the official RRB centralized application portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
  2. Create an Account using your Aadhaar number, Mobile number, and active Email address.
  3. Login with your credentials and choose Centralised Employment Notice (CEN 04/2026).
  4. Select the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Zone of your choice.
  5. Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, and bank account details for fee refund.
  6. Upload scanned passport size color photograph (30-70 KB, JPG/JPEG) and clear signature (30-70 KB).
  7. Review all filled particulars and pay the examination fee online.
  8. Submit the application and download the confirmation slip for all future stages.
