Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, invites online applications on behalf of Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles) for recruitment to 282 posts of Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant), and General Duty Medical Officers - GDMO (Assistant Commandant). Eligible MBBS, MD/MS, and DM/M.Ch medical professionals can submit application forms online.

Super Specialist Medical Officer (2IC) 05 Level 12 (₹78,800 - 2,09,200) + NPA MBBS or equivalent + DM / M.Ch in concerned specialty recognized by NMC + 3 years experience.
Specialist Medical Officer (Dy Commandant) 175 Level 11 (₹67,700 - 2,08,700) + NPA Recognized Medical Qualification (MBBS) + Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty (Medicine, Surgery, Gynae, Anaesthesia, Radiology, Eye, ENT, Pathology, Pediatrics) + Experience.
General Duty Medical Officer - GDMO (Asst Commandant) 102 Level 10 (₹56,100 - 1,77,500) + NPA Recognized Medical Qualification (MBBS) included in First or Second Schedule of NMC Act + Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
  • Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST): Initial verification of qualifications and minimum physical standards for male/female doctors.
  • Medical Officers Selection Board (MOSB) Interview: Professional interview carrying 200 marks (Specialists) / 100 marks (GDMO) testing clinical competence.
  • Medical Examination: Assessment by Review Medical Board as per uniform medical guidelines for CAPFs.
