🏛️ About Oman College of Health Sciences (OCHS)

OCHS was established under Royal Decree No. 18/2018 through the integration of the Ministry of Health's academic institutions across Oman. It currently offers six undergraduate degree programs: Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy, and Health Information Management.

The college operates across multiple branches throughout the Sultanate — from Muscat to Dhofar — and plays a central role in training the next generation of Oman's healthcare workforce in line with Oman Vision 2040.

Assistant Professor of Midwifery

Contract Fixed-term employment contract. Financial grade determined based on experience.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Midwifery, OR a Bachelor's degree in General Nursing plus a Higher Diploma in Midwifery.
  • Master's degree in Midwifery or Nursing.
  • PhD degree in Midwifery or Nursing from a university ranked in the top 50% of the QS, THE (Times Higher Education), or Shanghai international rankings in the year of graduation.
  • IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent TOEFL score.
  • Minimum 3 years of academic experience after obtaining the most recent qualification.

Midwifery Instructor
